Robert S. Hekemian has over 50 years’ experience in the real estate business. President

With over 30 years’ experience in the real estate business, Robert Hekemian, Jr. is responsible for identifying real estate investment opportunities for Hekemian & Co. and its affiliates, as well as evaluating the performance and leasing strategies of its’ currently managed real estate entities. Bryan S. Hekemian

Principal

Bryan Hekemian leads the Hekemian & Co. Development Team, planning and reviewing all pre-development activities. Bryan is also responsible for policy making decisions regarding Hekemian’s Management Division, and is a key member of the Acquisitions and Development Due Diligence Team. He has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate business. David Hekemian

Principal

As Director of Commercial Sales and Leasing, Mr. Hekemian is responsible for tenant selection, lease negotiation, lease preparation, and execution thereof. With over 20 years’ experience in the real estate business, David serves as Advisor to First Real Estate Investment Trust, a publicly traded REIT, and is a key member of the Acquisitions and Development Due Diligence Team, responsible for existing lease analysis, new tenant marketing potential, and center repositioning. Education: B.S./ Finance, Boston College


Allan Tubin

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Tubin is responsible for corporate and project finance, budgeting and tax planning, accounting, and SEC compliance for both Hekemian & Co., and its affiliates¬, in particular, the First Real Estate Investment Trust of New Jersey (FREIT), a public company. He is a key member of the Hekemian & Co. Acquisitions and Development Due Diligence Team, responsible for financial forecasting and modeling. Allan has over 25 years’ experience in real estate finance. Prior to joining Hekemian in 1996, he was the Chief Financial Officer for the international real estate activities of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc. (DLJ), and had been a CPA with Ernst & Young. Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Pace University


Christopher Bell

Senior Vice President, Acquisition & Development

Mr. Bell is a former Retail Architect with over 16 years’ experience in real estate development. He has been the project architect for over 1.5 million square feet of retail space throughout Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Chris is currently responsible for identifying development and acquisition opportunities for Hekemian & Co. in the Mid-Atlantic region, securing development entitlements and project approvals, and preparing the initial project development budget and financial projections. Education: B.E.D.A, North Carolina State University B. Arch (Graduate Degree), North Carolina State University M.B.A., University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill


Serge Krikorian

Vice President, Insurance Division

Mr. Krikorian had dedicated the last 45 years to Hekemian & Co., with over 30 years leading the Insurance Division. His responsibilities include writing the insurance for all properties managed by Hekemian & Co., and assessing the amount and type of insurance needed for new acquisitions. Types of insurance include property, liability, flood, boiler, and workman’s compensation. Serge's tenure with Hekemian & Co. began in 1966 in Residential Real Estate Sales. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Sergeant at Arms of the Hackensack Rotary Club, and has also served as its President. He is also a Member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Bergen County, NJ. Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, New York University


Michael O'Dea

Vice President, Property Management Operations

Mr. O'Dea oversees property management for Hekemian properties. He directs Hekemian property managers in the continual pursuit of protecting the physical assets and the maximizing of financial returns. Mike’s responsibilities include managing large capital projects, implementing operational controls, and instructing all team members in attaining the highest levels of skill, including property managers, leasing associates, maintenance technicians, and administrative personnel. It is under his leadership that the Hekemian team on the ground is able to provide its highly acclaimed, award-winning customer service. Mike serves on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Apartment Association and also serves as a board member on two municipal rent leveling boards in Bergen County, New Jersey. Education: B.S./United States Military Academy, West Point
